Chuck Biscuits, one of the finest drummers in the history of hardcore punk, passed away over the weekend after a battle with throat cancer. He battered the skins for some of the most important bands of the time--D.O.A., Black Flag, The Circle Jerks, Run DMC, Danzig--and was, as Bill Stevenson of The Descendents said here, "hugely influential without really being as ‘famous’ as drummers who were actually much less influential musically."
